Windows Small Business Server or SBS is a flexible, affordable, and easy-to-use server solution designed and priced for small businesses having no more than 25 users or 50 devices. In 2012, Microsoft SBS was renamed Windows Server Essentials and now provides the Remote Web Workplace, and offers management benefits such as integrated setup, enhanced monitoring, a unified management console, and remote access. Though Microsoft SBS is now considered a legacy technology, many businesses are actively and productively maintaining SBS.
